Bay Area Poetry Marathon has announced their guest curators for their summer line up, Tom Comitta (MFAW '11) will take on June and Ryan Funk (MFAW '12) with take on July. Donna De la Perriere (MFAW faculty & BAPM co-founder) will continue with August and the 100 Thousand Poets for Change in September.


MEDIA

Michelle Richmond (former MFAW faculty) breaks it down in 10 steps on how to write a novel.

PUBLICATION

Samizdat Literary Journal has recently published works by Stephen Leeper and Alexandra Leong (both MFAW '14) and Ben Bellizzi (MFAW '08).

KQED Pop has a feisty crew in their stable: David Aloi and Emmanuel Hapsis (both MFAW '09) take on Mothers' Day with Music and the Moms of American pop culture;
Emmanuel then takes on the Before... film trilogy; Laura Schadler (MFAW '07) gives her May music insights and urban biking.
